Through district/municipal, regional and demographic zoning competitions, Apam Senior High School, Damango Senior High School, Wenchi Methodist Senior High School and St. Dominic’s Senior High Technical School stood fit to battle at the grand finale of the 65th National Independence Day quiz.
The competition was a three-round exercise which gave every school the opportunity to intellectually and diligently battle their way through to emerging as the ultimate winner.

At the end of the first round of the competition, St. Dominic’s Senior High Technical School was, without reservations, written off for scoring nothing (0). The round saw Wenchi SHS staying on top with 10points.
From the state of quiescence, when all hope was gone, the contestants of St. Dominic’s SHTS rose from their slumber to top the second round with 23 points.
At the the end of the entire competition, Wenchi SHS emerged as the 1st runner-up with 24 points whiles St. Dominic’s Senior High Technical School won with a six-point-gab by scoring 30points in all.
