Majority of people believe in the popular quote by Virat Kohil that, “self-belief and hard work will always earn you success”. To others, luck, connections, and one’s destiny play roles in leading a person to becoming a successful person in life.
On Tuesday 1st March, 2022, one popular YouTube channel, SIXSCRIBES TV had a face-to-face interview with Agya Attah, a well known morgue keeper in the Kwahu West Municipality. In the interview, he talked about how he became a morgue keeper, the ethics, mysteries and cleared all misconceptions about his work.

Shockingly, he revealed that he was once a teacher but officially resigned to pursue his destined job. He said,
“In the year 2000, I came to Kwahu to work as a pupil teacher. I was a teacher at Gyamaase RC primary school but later wrote a resignation letter, moved to Nkawkaw to seek for another job”
From his narration, it was evident that he left teaching to seek for a better paying job – and truly, counting what he has achieved as a mortuary man shows that he was destined to prosper by keeping dead bodies.
