In September, 2021, the Ghana ex-actor Mr. Psalm Adjetefio (TT), popularly known in the Local TV Series “Taxi Driver” was in the news concerning his deteriorated financial condition. His story touched a lot of people in which some donated monies to him while others promised to give him appreciable monthly allowances.
In an audio recorded to the entertainment journalist MzGee, the retired actor asked the journalist to be benevolent enough and spare him some leftovers from her kitchen since life has reversed to default setting of having nothing again.
TT, in his introductory speech pleaded that, “MzGee good afternoon. I’m wondering if you have some leftovers to spare”.
He continued to say that, he has invested the GH50,000 given to him by the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Dr. Mahamadu Bamumia, into businesses and it will take a long time to harvest the benefits of his investment. Moreover, his main reason was that people who used to help him have ceased rendering such assistance because the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey, pledged to give him a monthly stipend of GH1,500. He said,
“Now, I was so hopeful that what the greater Accra minister promised will be forthcoming regularly but it came once. I was in his office a few days ago for a follow-up but I was told he’s traveled.
It is quite sad but evident that, the plea by the erstwhile sensational actor depicts that all is not green with him once again.
