Eastern Music Awards will have its second edition launch on the 22nd day of Septembef 2018 which will fused a seminar to acquire industrial knowledge from some prominent music industry players.
According to the Public Relations Officer for Hi5 Entertainment (organisers of EMA) Mr Offei, this year’s launch of EMA will embed a seminar to educate artistes, artiste managers, and other media persons who are interested and contributes to the eastern music fraternity.
“We have put things in place to have both the launch and Seminar to take off simultaneously and MUSIGA president Bice Osie Kuffuor known best as Obour with Richie of Lynx Entertainment will be our guest speakers for the day at Linda Dor Koforidua” he has told eagleeyegh.online
Speaking about challenges the institution has been facing so far as organisation remains the topic, Mr Offei has revealed that, Sponsorships and support from coperate bodies has been the greatest challenge since they are finding it difficult to inquire financial support
from coperate bodies in the region.
“Our gratest challenge has been that of sponsorships. We’ve tried our best to approach some companies and other coperate bodies for financial support and we are hoping for a better responds.” he added.
Reacting to a question regarding publicity of the event, He said:
“We are doing everything without the consultation of various media houses in the region. We are in collaboration with the Presenters Association Of Eastern Region (PATER) and we believe to have the best from them when it comes to Publicity. Besides, we have started with our media tour and have visited various radio stations in the Kwahu West Municapal being Live Fm, Obourba Fm, Hi Fm, among others and will soon tour the Abuakwa North and other places.”
“Eastern Music Awards 2018 is going to be august since it won the Event Of The Year award during ERMEA18 so we believe much is expected from us.” he added.
He has also told eagleeyegh.online that, either the board will introduce a new category or not, it will be communicated to the media at the launch.
