Okwawu 96.3 FM, Ghana’s number one station has been nominated in categories for this year’s Eastern Region Media Excellence Awards (ERMEA) .
The nomination list was unveiled on Eastern Region Media Excellence Awards’s Facebook platform.
Host of the awarding winning ‘Ghana Te Sen’ morning show, Akwasi Amoah Nyamekye, popularly known as Local Chairman General was nominated in the Morning Show Host of the Year 2019 category.
The ever-energetic Host of ‘Anigye Mmere’, Nana Akua Agyeiwaa Krofa has also gained nomination for the Mid-Morning Show Host of the year following her many entertaining and educative program.
Kwabena Dickson, popularly known on air as “Dickay” had “Sports Host” of the year category. The show itself, ‘Agoro Nie’ was nominated in the “Sports Program” of the year.
Due to the hard work of the both nominated and non-nominated presenters and producers, Okwawu FM as a whole was nominated in the “Station of the Year” category.
Also for the first time ever Afram 103.3 FM afternoon programme dubbed “MPU NE MPU” was nominated in the Social Program” of the year category.
